Helena Rosich is a jazz singer born in Girona. She began her studies of musical language and classical guitar at the Girona Music Conservatory. Very soon she felt drawn to different kinds of folk, pop, jazz and blues music. She listened to The Beatles, Bob Dylan, John Mayall, Van Morrison, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan and Joni Mitchell. This was the music that her older brothers brought home with them and which Helena listened to endlessly in their original vinyl form.

Jazz and blues enthralled her and she began her studies as a jazz vocalist and of the piano which she studied at the School of Modern Music in Girona and with the singer Sabina Witt in Barcelona. She has taken part in various international seminars with teachers such as Dona McElroy from Berklee College of Music and Lee Gibson from the Guildhall School of Music.

In the year 2010, she made her first record as a singer and in July 2015 she recorded her second album, under the name of «Invitation», and on which she was joined by the musicians Alexandre Carbonell, Francesc Ubanell, Joan Martí, Adrià Bauzó and César Martínez. Helena continues to explore jazz because for her it is such a rich music form and it is so full of different shades that she finds it the ideal instrument to display a wide range of emotions. Her strongest desire is to keep on working on new forms of expression within the marvellous world of jazz.
